ahh... it may be the end of february, but apparently over here at VTB HQ spring is in the air. Friday night we met the red twin for a quick drink at our living room and then headed to meet the blue twin and soon to be not LaineyG at Bowery to catch the Will Hoge show, who totally kicked ass in a highly surprising way. The show kicked off a series of musical events we have tickets to: Stellastarr, Jarvis Cocker, Kaiser Chiefs/The Walkmen/Annuals and the Shins. Kickass we say.

Then saturday night, we met up with AJHammer and headed over to Cousin Aly's for a little pregame action where CS met up with us before we headed over to HFT's birthday party. HFT, remaining completely insane threw her party at one of the most painful clubs in the city. CS and AJHammer were troopers, but after a drink we were all suffering pretty hard so we headed down to Lucky Jacks to meet CS' friend who we will dub The Maid of Orleans (The MofO), who I had met briefly a few nights ago, and we have to tell you. we're a bit smitten. ok we may be more than a bit smitten. which of course means that there is nothing but trouble headed down this path... any of you who have spent any amount of time reading our little blog here knows that we welcome trouble. in fact, sometimes we may even go search it out at times. either way, trouble generally marks the beginning of spring for us - its like our own personal groundhog.
